As for this comic…
I really did miss an opportunity for Colin to ‘pity the fool’ in some capacity. Oh well. I’m only human. Opportunities are missed.

Coffee and Donuts. So that’s What A Fool Believes.
I know this was likely intended as a Doobie Brothers reference, but I initially took it as a Patrick Swayze reference.
I just realized the team are color-coordinated with the van. That’s got to count for something.
See? It’s like they planned it or something! Or I planned it!
Well you can’t say no to coffee and doughnuts. That is unless you are on a diet. Still, you can’t go in there hungry…
I will do anything for donuts.
But you won’t do that! What gives?
Maybe I need a little more Meatloaf in my life.
It’s not like he would either.
But he’ll never stop dreaming of donuts every night of his life, oh no.
besides, once you´re inside the van you don´t have to look at it!
It takes a fool to understand a fool
This summer on TLC … Colin MacTavish is … FOOL TRACKER. It takes a fool to know a fool, and it takes an even bigger fool to hunt one!
“Ty?”
Tyler. You know, the guy standing to the left of frame in panel one? That guy.
Now he’s acquired another name.
That’s been his nickname for a very long time….
Gomez Addams: They say a man who represents himself has a fool for a client. Well, with God as my witness, I am that fool!
Daphne is in very good company….
Great line, man.
Colin just outwitted Daphne! Maybe for the first time ever! 🙂
Mark it on the calendar!
A-Team van . . . coffee and doughnuts . . . When Colin is on, he is ON!
He is competent when inspired. And less so when not.
Ugh! She ws week!
Then again, Colon’s actual job is babysitting. He can sit the baby elsewhere with the van.
But I can see where you’re going . And I’m enjoying the rolarcoster.
Well, we all have moments of weakness sometimes.
These are true. And I’ve been told the Tim Horton’s coffee is very good.
Tim’s coffee is … fine. It’s okay. Like McDonalds coffee, it’s perfectly serviceable coffee that is usually drinkable and seldom awful. Not a high bar, but when it comes to fast food coffee, that’s the bar we’re aiming for. I prefer it (strongly) over other chain coffees, but I’ll admit my tastes have been shaped by my adherence to the chain, so others might not love it as much as I do.
So, wait, you’re telling me there’s non-awful coffee?
Well, I guess that’s in the eye of the beholder. Or the tongue of the betaster.
“Well, I guess that’s in the eye of the beholder. Or the tongue of the betaster.”
Fair enough.
Maybe I just had bad coffee and never tried again.
You know who else likes coffee and donuts? Policemen.
Just saying.
Uh oh. Bad news!
It’s not the first time that Colin shows he actually knows well his stepdaughter, sometimes even more than Puck
Yep. It’s happened before.
Yeah there is a base of affection between them that canna be denied. Some of us were around for the car-wash caper and know the results. Hopefully this caper will go as well!
You know it. I know it. Some know it.
A fool who loves coffee and donuts… she’ll become a cop!
Da dumdum tish!
The toddler is just standing there, being good and not getting into anything while the adults are talking?
What kind of bizarre universe is this?
The kind of universe where chaotic kids are a lot of work to draw or incorporate into story arcs. So tiny kids are well-behaved when the story warrants it.
