This strip was another of the ‘summertime’ strips that appeared in the infrequent monthly summer issues of the Silhouette. I’ve never been really happy with this one. The drawings aren’t too hot, and the joke’s not terribly funny. (I mean, if you think about it, Puck’s in a RESIDENCE. Who the heck cares about a messy kitchen in a residence?)

This strip stands as a curio only in the fact that it provides Taylor (aka Tyler) with his only spoken lines in the entire original run. The head editor of the newspaper at the time felt that Taylor was somehow reminiscent of 80’s sitcoms, a la the Cosby Show and such. Perhaps. He wore really dated outfits (even for the time that this was published). Gotta love those Reebok Pumps.
